Dr. Brian Jacobs graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his residency at St. Paul-Ramsey Medical Center in St. Paul, Minnesota and a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Jacobs is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has practiced in the South Bend area since 1995. His practice includes sports medicine and family medicine.

Since arriving in South Bend, he has worked with USA Weightlifting, IUSB Men’s and Women’s basketball, Marian High School, the Sunburst runs and the Notre Dame Bengal Bouts Boxing Tournament.

He has participated in sports physical examinations for IUSB, Notre Dame and various high schools.

Dr. Jacobs is involved in the South Bend Sports Medicine fellowship as a clinical instructor and lecturer. He enjoys taking care of people from infants to ‘veteran’ adults, and athletes from the avid to the occasional.

He is a Fellow in The American College of Sports Medicine and a member of The American Academy of Family Physicians, The Indiana State Medical Society of Sports Medicine, The American Medical College of Sports Medicine, and the St. Joseph County Medical Society.
